Canadian employers, use this template to prepare an
Employee Termination Letter, for circumstances when an employee is being terminated for cause. The letter sets out several severance options, including:
- continuation of employee benefits for a specified period of time,
- paid relocation counseling,
- lump sum payout or continuation of pay for a fixed number of months, at the option of the employee.
Also included is a
Business Protection Agreement to be signed by the employee prior to receiving the final paycheque.
