Canada Employee Termination Letter

Canadian employers, use this template to prepare anEmployee Termination Letter, for circumstances when an employee is being terminated for cause. The letter sets out several severance options, including:

continuation of employee benefits for a specified period of time,
paid relocation counseling,
lump sum payout or continuation of pay for a fixed number of months, at the option of the employee.

Also included is a Business Protection Agreement to be signed by the employee prior to receiving the final paycheque.
