Notice to Landlord of Breach of Rental Agreement, pursuant to the Residential Landlord-Tenant Code.
- This Notice is to be used in circumstances where the tenant intends to repair the breach if the landlord fails to do so.
- The landlord is required to remedy the breach within 30 days or initiate corrective measures within 10 days of receiving the Notice; otherwise, the tenant will proceed to repair the breach and deduct the costs from the rent to a maximum of $200 or half of 1 month's rent.
