Indiana Survivorship Affidavit
Do you own property in Indiana jointly with someone who has recently passed away? You will need to file this Survivorship Affidavit in order to have the property transferred into the name(s) of the surviving owner(s).
The Affidavit sets out the details of the ownership of the property, and states that the funeral expenses have been paid, and that federal estate tax is not payable on the deceased’s assets.
