Magazine Article Royalty Agreement

Magazine publishers, use this template to prepare a Royalty Agreement with an author for an article he/she has been hired to write for publication in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

The publisher has control over the style, format, design, layout and editorial changes.
If the author fails to deliver the article by a specified date, the publisher has the right to terminate the agreement.
The author grants the publisher certain serial rights, and any rights not specifically given over remain with the author.
