Minnesota Cold Weather Notice to Landlord
Minnesota tenants, if you are planning to be away from your rental unit for an extended time between November 15 and April 15, notify your landlord of your absence with this Cold Weather Notice to Landlord, in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Statutes.
The landlord is notified that the tenant will be away from the premises for a specified time so that the landlord can keep watch on any plumbing or pipes on the premises that may freeze during the tenant's absence.
