Quebec Notice of Major Improvements or Repairs
Quebec landlords, if you are planning major repairs or renovations to a rental property occupied by a tenant, you must serve them with this Notice of Major Improvements or Repairs, in accordance with articles 1922 and 1923 of the Civil Code.
The Notice notifies the tenant that certain major improvements or repairs will be made to the premises, and informs the tenant whether or not he/she will be required to vacate the property during the course of those repairs.
