Receipt for Holding Deposit on Rental Property
Landlords, if you charge a holding deposit to hold a rental property for a potential tenant, issue a receipt to the applicant with this easy-to-use form.
The Receipt form sets out the time period that the unit will be held for, and the date it will expire. The applicant agrees that if the rental application is not approved, the landlord may deduct the cost of any credit check from the deposit before returning the balance to the applicant.
This Receipt for Holding Deposit on Rental Property form is in MS Word format, and is easy to download and use.
