UK Copyright Assignment

Assign a copyright from one party (the assignor) to another party (the assignee) with this template Copyright Assignment under the laws of the United Kingdom.

The assignor agrees to sign all other documents required to effect the assignment, and if he/she fails to do so, the assignee has power of attorney to sign on behalf of the assignor.
If the assignor has a Value Added Tax registration number, VAT will be payable on the remuneration paid by the assignee, upon receipt of the assignor's VAT invoice.
The assignor warrants that s/he is the sole owner of the copyright in the work, and was at all material times a "qualifying person" within the meaning of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
The assignor waives all rights, including moral rights, with respect to the copyright to which s/he may be entitled under any legislation anywhere in the world.
