Independent Contractor Agreement to retain an individual to work with your company as an independent contractor, instead of being hired as an employee.
- The independent contractor is responsible for payment of his/her own income taxes, National Insurance and other contributions payable on the contract fees.
- The contractor agrees not to disclose or use any confidential information of the company.
- Either party may terminate the Agreement upon proper notice. The company may also terminate the Agreement if the contractor fails to perform his/her duties or for other reasonable grounds.
- The contractor is solely responsible for any liability arising from the provision of services, and he/she is required to carry public liability insurance.
