Idaho Declaration of Abandonment of Declared Homestead
Idaho home owners, are you moving out of your principal residence? If you have filed a Declaration of Homestead naming your current property as your homestead, you will need to file this Declaration of Abandonment.
The Declaration of Abandonment notifies all parties with an interest in the property that you are abandoning the property as your homestead (in other words, your principal residence, the place in which you live all or most of the time). The file contains a copy of Section 55-1004 of the Idaho Code dealing with homestead declarations.
This Idaho Declaration of Abandonment of Declared Homestead form is provided in MS Word format, and is easy to download, fill in and print.
