Idaho Declaration of Non-Abandonment of Homestead
Idaho homeowners, if you must move out of a property that you have declared as your homestead for a period of time (due to work, military or other commitments), but you plan to move back into the premises, you should file this Declaration of Non-Abandonment of Homestead form to ensure that the property does not lose its exempt status.
The Declaration is made pursuant to the Idaho Code, Section 55-1006, and the file contains a copy of the relevant section of the Statutes.
