NSW Residential Tenancy Agreement for More than 3 Years
NSW landlords, let a house or flat to a tenant with this Residential Tenancy Agreement for More than 3 Years, in accordance with the New South Wales Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and the Residential Tenancies Regulation 1995.
This form of agreement is to be used ONLY if the tenancy is for a term of more than 3 years. It can be used for either a furnished or unfurnished premises.
The Tenancy Agreement contains standard provisions such as:
- payment of the rental bond,
- payment by the tenant of council rates, land tax, water, and other charges,
- landlord's right to enter the premises for repairs and maintenance,
- landlord's responsibilities to keep the property habitable and in good repair,
- alterations and additions,
- installation of locks and security devices and smoke alarms,
- subletting or assignment of the tenancy,
- also includes a Premises Condition Report, which should be completed by the landlord and tenant at the beginning and end of the tenancy.
