Victoria landlords, download a free copy of Renting a Home - A Guide for Tenants and Landlords, published by the Director of Consumer Affairs Victoria.

The landlord must provide the tenant with a copy of the Guide on or before the day they move in pursuant to the Residential Tenancies Act 1997. Section 66 of the Act stipulates that the landlord may face a fine of up to $500 for failing to provide a copy of this publication to a tenant.
