England & Wales General Power of Attorney

Prepare a General Power of Attorney for England and Wales with this template form in accordance with section 10 of the Power of Attorney Act 1971.

A General Power of Attorney gives the person(s) you are naming in the form broad powers to act on your behalf, such as signing documents, making financial transactions, etc. but you still have the right to do all of those things yourself as well. You can choose to have the Power of Attorney end after a specified period of time or on a particular date. The attorney's authority is automatically revoked if you lose mental capacity.
